On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan (August 9, 2025), over 1 crore 24 lakh women in Odisha will receive a financial gift from Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi under the Subhadra Yojana. The third installment of this transformative women’s welfare scheme will be disbursed starting from Jeypore, Koraput district.

According to Pravati Parida, Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha President, efforts are being made to include all eligible women who missed previous phases due to documentation or eligibility issues. The government plans to onboard them gradually in upcoming phases.
