How to Set Up a Custom Domain in Blogger with HIOX India (2025)

✅ Step 1: Copy CNAME from Blogger

1. Go to Blogger → Settings → Custom Domain.

2. Enter your domain with www. like www.yoursite.com and click Save.

3. You'll get two CNAME records:

   • CNAME 1:

     • Name: www

     • Destination: ghs.google.com

   • CNAME 2:

     • Name: e.g., ab12cd34

     • Destination: e.g., gv-xyz123.dv.googlehosted.com

📋 Copy both of them.

✅ Step 2: Log in to HIOX India

1. Go to https://www.hioxindia.com.

2. Click Client Login and enter your credentials.

3. Go to My Domains → Select your domain.

4. Click on Manage DNS Records.

Add Both Records

✅ Step 3: Add CNAME Records in HIOX

1. In the DNS Management panel, click Add New Record.

2. Select Type: CNAME

   • Host Name: www

   • Value: ghs.google.com

3. Add the second CNAME:

• Host Name: (The unique code like ab12cd34)

• Value: (The destination code from Blogger)

📝 Example:

CNAME	ab12cd34	gv-xyz123.dv.googlehosted.com

✅ Step 4: Add A Records for non-www access

Add 4 A records to support yourdomain.com (without www):

Type	Hostname	IP Address
A	@	216.239.32.21
A	@	216.239.34.21
A	@	216.239.36.21
A	@	216.239.38.21

✅ Step 5: Go Back to Blogger and Save Domain

1. After saving all DNS records in HIOX, go back to Blogger → Settings → Custom Domain.

2. Click Save.

3. It should now accept your domain.

⏳ Wait 30–60 minutes, sometimes up to 24 hours for DNS to propagate.

✅ Step 6: Enable HTTPS

1. In Blogger Settings, scroll to HTTPS.

2. Turn on both:

• HTTPS Availability → ON

• HTTPS Redirect → ON
